Done it as part of a self appointed challenge, to paint 3 pieces in 6 hours and make them as different from each other as possible. The first 2 went fine, but I liked this one too much and decided to spend more time on it.
This is really fantastic! The buildings and the giant robot are the best part, and the colors you used are perfect. The guy in the shadows looks a little awkward anatomy wise, but it doesn't take away from this at all. Your speedpaints are amazing!
Thanks! Yeah I think I spent the most time on the mech and the city as they're the focal points. I have a deeper story for this in my head (something about the cops/police robot being distracted by the kids while this shady looking character is arranging some nefarious plot using the phone), but by the time I got to the end of the painting I just could not be bothered spending time detailing the foreground anymore, so I left it kind of shady and mysterious. And about the anatomy... yeah, definitely my weakest part, even though while drawing this it looked fine to me, but that always happens when you become absorbed by the painting
